Privacy Policy

• Waitlist: your name, email, birthdate and city, and whether you want product updates. We screen for 18+ eligibility using the birthdate you provide. This is self-reported birthdate screening, not independent verification of your identity or age.
• Launch-city vote: the city you chose, counted once your email is confirmed.
• Alignment Checker: the two birthdates you enter are used only to show the reading in your browser. They are not sent to our servers or saved in browser storage.
• Houston Beta: Stripe collects your name, email, billing details and card on its own checkout page. Stripe tells us your name, email and that you paid; we never see your card number.
• Technical data: Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser information to serve the site securely and block abuse.
• Cookies: essential cookies and browser local storage only. No advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics.

• To hold your place on the waitlist and tell you when Align launches in your city.
• To count launch-city votes and decide where to launch next.
• To compute your chart from your birthdate when the app launches.
• To deliver your Houston Beta perks, including launch party and Discord invites.
• To send updates, only if you opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To prevent fraud, fake sign-ups and vote manipulation.

Only the providers that run the site, under contract: Cloudflare (hosting and security), Supabase (waitlist database), Stripe (payments) and EmailOctopus (confirmation and update emails). We may also disclose limited information where required or permitted by applicable law, including in response to valid legal process, qualifying emergencies or lawful reports of suspected illegal activity, as described in our Law Enforcement Protocols, or to a buyer if Align is ever sold. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.

• Waitlist entries: until the app launches and you have had the chance to create an account, or until you ask us to delete yours.
• Houston Beta records: for as long as your perks are active, and order records for 7 years for tax purposes.

Relevant records may be retained longer where required by law or subject to a legally valid preservation requirement. Preservation does not itself authorize disclosure, as explained in our Law Enforcement Protocols.

You can ask to see, correct, delete or get a copy of your data, or stop update emails, at any time. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 45 days. If we deny your request, reply with "Appeal" in the subject and we will answer within 60 days; you may also contact the Texas Attorney General.

The site is only for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we delete it if we learn we have, except for records we must preserve under applicable law.

Data travels over encrypted connections. Waitlist entries are submitted through a Cloudflare Worker and stored in Supabase Postgres; the public site cannot read back individual waitlist entries. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you of any breach as the law requires.

We will update the date above when this policy changes. Separate app privacy disclosures will be provided before the app launches; this website policy does not describe identity-document, facial-image or third-party age-verification processing in the app.
